I really needed to read this yesterday. You're right. I think everyone can sometimes feel the pressures of life. Without a break sometimes we will feel overwhelmed. In my case, I felt I needed to 1. Do well at work 2. Be a good father to my 3 year old and 5 month old daughters 3. Be a good husband to my wife 4. Study so I can try to make a move into DevOps 5. Get regular excercise 6. Get enough sleep 7. Have enough time to relax.

Because of this article I found some time to relax yesterday and I feel a lot better. So thank you.

We are doing things for the long-run. And good work-life balance enables us to do good work long-term. Great to see you like hiking. I have great memories from my recent hike to the tallest Slovenian mountain Triglav!

Long-term thinking vs. Short-term thinking. Triglav looks amazing! I've just added it to my "want to go" list. 🙌
